The country’s largest teacher’s organisation has called on the government to increase their commitment to Clare schools.
Five extra teaching posts have been created in national schools in Liscannor, Lahinch, Tuamgraney, St Tola’s in Shannon, and St. Mochulla’s in Tulla after they increased enrolments in the current school year
However, while welcoming the announcement of the extra posts, INTO representative for Clare Sean McMahon says the government should stick to it’s word, and do more for schools in the county
