There’s a night of nostalgia in-store for former members and leaders of youth clubs throughout Clare this evening.
As part of the Gathering, anyone who was involved in Clare Youth Clubs over the years is being invited to relive the old days of the discos with Big G, Gerry Sexton in a re-union at the West County Hotel in Ennis.
It’s estimated that over 30,000 Clare people have passed through 100 youth clubs since the formation of the Clare Regional Youth Council – now the Clare Youth Service almost 50 years ago, while a further 1,000 people went on to be youth leaders.
