Four back in court over Ennis Feuding

Four people are due back in court today charged in connection with violent feuding in Ennis.

Bernie McDonagh Junior of 1, Ashline, Ennis is charged with assault causing harm of John Doherty at the Maid of Erin on Sunday October 14th and two charges in relation to the possession and use of a Stanley Knife.

45 year old Bernard McDonagh of Ashline, Ennis is accused of ramming a number of vehicles including a garda car creating a substantial risk of serious harm or death.

He’s also charged with three counts of criminal damage and the assault of John Doherty at the Maid of Eireann on Sunday October 14th.

Also before the court today are 37 year old Christopher McDonagh of Childers Rd Ennis who’s charged with possession of an iron bar with intent to cause injury to John, Martin and Jimmy Doherty – and a 16 year old  – who cannot be named  – is accused of intent to harm the same three members of the Doherty family while in possession of a hatchet.
