The first round of the French Presidential Election is underway.
10 candidates are vying for the position – but the real battle is between the two front runners – President Nicholas Sarkozy and Socialist Party leader Francois Hollande.
Monsieur Hollande – has a narrow lead in the polls – with President Sarkozy threatening to quit politics if he is not re-elected.
