There are fresh calls in Clare for a roadmap to be put in place for the return of the live music sector.

A small number of pilot events have taken place, mainly in Dublin in the last number of months, but the majority of the industry has been in limbo since the onset of the pandemic.

Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has told the Dáil that concerts may be able to open for the fully vaccinated in the near future.

Ennis-based fiddle player Siobhan Peoples says while she’s lucky to have alternative work, she’s anxious to return to playing live gigs once more.
