183,000 euro has been announced for 11 of Clare's community childcare facilities.
Loughgraney Kids Corner in Flagmount is getting the highest allocation here, at 46,000 euro, followed by Miltown Malbay and District Community Playgroup, Obair Newmarket on Fergus and Clare Family Resource Centre in Ennis.
The money, under the Early Years Capital programme, will also be used for repair and maintenance works, and for upgrades at othe rfacilities in Tuamgraney, Inagh, Ruan, Kildysart, Kilkee, Lissycasey and Kilrush.
