The Minister for Children Frances Fitzgerald has confirmed funding of almost 65,000 euro for childcare services in County Clare.
The allocation comes as part of the second round of Childcare Capital Grants awarded since 2008.
15 Clare Childcare providers benefit from the funding, which is part of a nationwide 2.75 million euro being given to a total of 671 childcare providers.
The allocations vary from Westbury Childcare services receiving 2,919 euro, to a grant of 9,886 euro going to Fledglings Early Years Cuan Samh, Kilrush.
