The funeral of golfing legend Christy O'Connor Junior is taking place today.

The Galway native passed away last week in Tenerife at the age of 67.
He's won four competitions on the European Tour and came in the top five at the British Open on three occasions and was well-known as a golf course designer, while he was also a member of Lahinch Golf Club.
Christy will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery following Requiem Mass in Galway Cathedral at midday.
