Garda Appeal For Witnesses Following Separate Ennis Assaults

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to two separate assaults in Ennis.

The first happened outside a primary school last Friday, while in the second incident, a shop assistant was assaulted by two teens.

 

A Garda investigation is underway, after a man in his 40’s was assaulted by another person outside Ennis National School on the Kilrush Road.

The incident happened last Friday morning at ten minutes to nine.

It’s understood the vitim of the assault escaped serious injury.

In a separate incident around 2 o’clock the previous day, a shop assistant was assaulted by two young women at a businesses premises off Drumbiggle Road after she confronted them over stealing items in the premises.

The young women, who made their escape with a number of goods in their possession, are described as being 16 years of age, wearing blck jackets and black trousers.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the vacinity of either incident, or who may have dash cam footage to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 68 48 100, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
