Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a woman in South East Clare.
The woman in her 50’s was approached by a male on the outskirts of Sixmilebridge on Friday evening last, just after 5pm.

The suspect, who’s described as having a dishevelled appearance, wearing a dark coloured coat and carrying a Dunne’s Stores bag, is believed to have walked into the village after the incident.
There are no report of injuries.
