Gardaí say they have received no reports of a suspicious approach to children in Ennis.
It follows a post online, which has been widely circulated on social media, which claimed that two children were followed yesterday evening by a man who asked them to come to him.
A description of the man was included, but a Garda source has told Clare FM they have not been formally notified of any such incident.
