A man’s in a stable condition in hospital after a knife attack in Ennis.
The victim, understood to be a member of the travelling community was stabbed up to six times with a bread knife at a house in Clare’s County Town in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Gardaí were called to the scene at Clonroad Beg at around 1.30 am and discovered a man with multiple wounds -who was treated at the property before being brought to Limerick Regional Hospital.
No arrests have been made but Ennis Gardaí say that a file will be prepared for the DPP.
