1,500 euro worth of drugs have been seized by Gardaí during the search of a car in Clare.
Last Friday evening, uniformed Gardaí stopped a car in Ennis and during the course of a search a quantity of cannabis herb was uncovered.
A 19-year-ol man was arrested at the scene and detained at Ennis Garda Station under Section 4 of the Crinimal Justice Act.
He has since been charged and released on station bail to appear before Ennis District Court in the coming weeks.
The controlled substances have been forwarded for analysis to Forensic Science Ireland.
