Oliver Garry has announced that he won’t be running in next month’s local elections.
The former Kildysart representative, who lost his seat in the 2014 elections, had been selected to run for the party in the Kilrush electoral area.

However, he’s now withdrawn from the race, citing family reasons.
As it stands, Mike Taylor and Councillor Gabriel Keating will be on the ticket for Fine Gael in next month’s poll.
