Clare’s preparations for The Gathering next year are to be discussed at a meeting in Kilrush tonight.
The initiative aims to invite visitors to Ireland throughout next year, and The Gathering Clare Steering Group say it could attract 20,000 international visitors to the county, generating up to 10 million euro.
A ‘large’ number of events have already been submitted to the Group, which is co-coordinating and promoting the Gathering activities throughout Clare.
Tonight’s event at Kilrush Golf Club begins at 7:30.
