Govt. look into separatiion of Shannon from Daa control

The government has announced that it is to look into the possible separtion of Shannon and Cork airports from the control of the Daa.

The transport minister Leo Varadkar belives that the current situation where the Mid west airport as well as Cork  are under the control of the Dublin Airpoirt authority, cannot continue.

A British consultancy company Booz and Company will conduct a study of the ownership and is expected to report back to the goverment within the next 4 weeks.
