A Clare Healthcare provider has been granted permission to convert a residential unit in Newmarket- On-Fergus to a dedicated GP facility.
The Saffron and Blue Medical Clinic has been providing the service from Carrigoran House since 2020, following the retirement of Dr. Colm Hackett who had served the community for over forty years.
Clare County Council has this week given the green light for all necessary works to adapt a chalet on the premises for use as a general practice.
