Harris ‘Not Off The Hook’ Ahead Of Meeting Clare Councillors

The Health Minister is being warned he’s not being let off the hook, just because the 60-bed modular unit at the region’s main hospital has been confirmed.

Simon Harris is meeting with the four Clare members of the HSE’s Regional Health Forum West this afternoon, to discuss their concerns with the health system in the Midwest.

Among the things on the agenda will be long-term plans for tackling overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick and the possibility of turning Ennis into a Model 3 hospital to alleviate the situation.
