Visiting restrictions at the region’s main maternity hospital are being further relaxed from today
Nominated support partners are now be able to attend their partner’s first appointment in the antenatal clinic at University Maternity Hospital Limerick.
They will also now be permitted access to the facility’s ultrasound department.
The UL Hospitals Group says it remains vigilant in all aspects of access to the hospital, and say they’ll continue to prioritise the safety, welfare and privacy of all women and infants in their care.
