Gardaí have launched an investigation after a car was stolen from a housing estate in South-East Clare.
The incident occurred in Newmarket-On-Fergus at around 2am on Monday morning, when the perpetrators gained entry to a home in the Cluain Alainn estate at Hurlers Cross.
The homeowner’s car keys were taken and subsequently the vehicle, a black BMW X5 was stolen.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have observed the vehicle after 2am on Monday morning in the Newmarket on Fergus area or on the motorway, particularly those with dash-cam footage, to contact their nearest Garda station.
