Ennis Hospital campaigners have asked Clare’s General Election Candidates to make the County Hospital their number one priority amid new fears for local services.
Members of the Ennis General Hospital Development Committee regrouped this week to meet with local CDs and General Election Candidates over fears for Psychiatric services in Clare as well as the local Cardiac and High Dependency facilities.
They’ve asked local TDs to seek a meeting with Health Minister regarding Ennis General, but with the department of Health now being overseen by the Tainaiste, it’s unclear whether any talks can happen before the General Election
Independent Election candidate James Breen says the time for talking is over now and serious protest action is required
