The Environment Section of Clare County Council says people can bring a carload of waste to its five centres and transfer stations at Ballyduffbeg, Lisdeen, Shannon, Scarriff and Ennis.
Traditionally, there's a build-up of plastic, paper and glass materials at homes across the festive season, most of which can be recycled.
