The average price of a three-bed semi detached home in Clare rose by 2% in the past year.
The latest report from the Real Estate Alliance shows the cost of such a property remained at €230,000 during the first three months of 2023.
By concentrating on the actual sale price of three-bed semis, REA says it’s Q1 Average House Price Index provides an up-to-date picture of the second-hand property market in towns and cities countrywide.
Across County Clare, the cost remained unchanged between January and March, when compared to the previous quarter, while first-time buyers made up 55% of the market.
Interestingly, 5% of sales were completed by buyers moving out of cities, with a view to setting up a home in the banner.
The average time taken to complete a sale in the county also hasn’t changed since the last quarter of 2022, with the survey showing this remains at 10 weeks.
Across the rest of the country, the actual selling price of a three-bedroomed semi-detached house rose by 0.6% over the past three months, to €293,343,representing an annual increase of 5.3%.
