The number of Irish people visiting Clare grew last year.
New CSO figures show an extra 27 thousand people took their staycations in the Banner County in 2014, making Clare the seventh most popular destination.
However, while the number of people travelling here is up, it appears that they are staying here for shorter periods of time.
The average stay was 3.4 nights, nearly 1 less than the year before, though Irish visitors did spend a total of nearly 1.1 million nights here last year.
