Irish Vessel Rescues 108 More Migrants

Irish naval vessel, the LÉ James Joyce, has rescued another 108 migrants off the coast of Libya.

The ship located the migrants in a rubber vessel 35 nautical miles north-west of Tripoli this morning and brought them on board.

The migrants received food and water, and were provided with medical treatment where required.

The LÉ James Joyce has rescued more than 2,000 people in the Mediterranean this summer.
