Irish Water is being called on to urgently begin a programme of works to resolve ongoing water supply problems in South East Clare.
Homes and residents in the Parteen area are currently without water after three leaks sprung in the watermain around Griffin's Cross with work currently taking place to fix the problem.
It's the latest in series of similar bursts in the same area in recent months.
Local Councillor Cathal Crowe has been telling me that carrying out temporary fixes is not good enough for the community.
