The annual event gives left-handed people a chance to increase awareness about the advantages and disadvantages of being left-handed.
Mullingar – which means the town of the left hand mill – is celebrating a special Gathering event today.
The event includes a competition for left handed champion of Ireland, the signing of the Human lefts convention and Mullingar welcomes Left Handers with Left Handed Hotel Rooms and Left Hand Restaurants.
