A private jet is being sought to help save a rare turtle washed ashore in West Clare during last winter's storms.
The loggerhead turtle had suffered severe injuries, but has since recovered at the Galway Atlantaquaria.
Now, the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group want to release her into warmer waters in the Canary Island, but have been unable to find a commercial airliner to transport her.
They've now issued a plea for a private jet owner to come to the turtle's rescue.
