Talks between the IMO and the HSE over the junior doctors dispute are to continue this morning after they were suspended overnight.

Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors entered the talks at the LRC at noon yesterday – after the HSE agreed that financial sanctions are needed to prevent them working dangerously long hours.

Over three-thousand junior doctors took part in strike action on Tuesday, and the IMO has warned that more industrial action could soon follow if there is no resolution.
