The IRFU have announced that Munster coach Anthony Foley has died at the team hotel in Paris.

As a mark of respect to the 42 year old Killaloe man and his family and to support players, management and staff, Munster's Champions Cup match against Racing 92 has been postponed.

The former Ireland number 8 was head coach of Munster from 2014 to the end of last season.

Foley stayed with the province in a coaching capacity when Rassie Erasmus joined the province as Director of Rugby.

Foley played 62 times for Ireland and was captained the Munster team that won the Heineken Cup in 2006.
