Labour candidate vows to priorities Shannon region

The Labour Leader is expected to decide today whether the party will press ahead with a no confidence motion in the government.

Eamon Gilmore, who’s on a two day tour of County Clare said he didn’t know if it was possible to make it to the election without further Dáil disruption as the Government was dysfunctional and disintegrating.

Mr Gilmore was speaking in Shannon last night where he officially opened the election campaign offices of the party’s Clare candidate Michael McNamara.
