Fine Gael has chosen their candidate to represent the party in the Clare constituency at the next general election.
Clarecastle native Leonora Carey is bidding to fill the position of her brother Joe Carey who stood as former Fine Gael TD for Clare.
The party members came to the decision last night, during a convention held in the West County Hotel in Ennis, which was chaired by Minister Hildegarde Naughton.
