The Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival has returned to Clare for the first time in three years.
Europe’s largest singles event, the lovefest was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic and was held in Spain last year due to Covid-19 restrictions in Ireland.
The event runs for the entire month of September and attracts up to 40,000 hopeful singletons in search of true love.
Matchmaker Willie Daly, says the annual festival makes the possibility of love a reality for attendees.
