A man in his thirties has died follwing an accident outside Killaloe town in the early hours of this morning.
The man died after his car went into the Shannon in an area known as "Between the waters" in Killaloe town.
The accident happened just before 6 am this morning
The dead man is believed from the Limerick city area.
No one else was in the car at the time and the man’s body has been recovered from the scene.
A post mortem examination will be carried out later at the Mid Western
Regional Hospital in Limerick.
