Mayor Of Clare Hails Countywide All-Ireland Final Buzz

Clare’s first citizen is urging the Banner faithful to show their passion, colours and enthusiasm for the county’s senior hurlers over the next two weeks.

It’s after Clare qualified for their first All-Ireland final in eleven years with victory over Kilkenny in Saturday’s semi-final.

It will be a repeat of the 2013 decider against Cork, in which the Banner last claimed the Liam McCarthy Cup, with the Rebel’s dethroning four in-a-row All-Ireland Champions Limerick in the other semi-final.

Mayor of Clare Councillor Alan O’Callaghan says the atmosphere in the county is electric.
