As Christmas fast approaches, people out shopping in Shannon are being given the unique opportunity to avail of confession.
Priests will be hearing confessions at the Skycourt Shopping Centre today for the second year of 'Mercy On The Mall'.
The initiative came about in response to a call from Pope Francis for priests to go out and meet people, and was big hit last year.
It got underway at 1 o'clock and Communications Officer with the Diocese of Killaloe Fr Brendan Quinlivan says all are welcome to attend.
