The MidWest Hospital Campaign insists it has other matters to prioritise before deciding if it will run a general election candidate in Clare.
It comes as the campaign group has nominated Melanie Sheehan Cleary, whose daughter Eve died after being discharged from UHL in 2019, to run as an independent candidate in the Limerick City Constituency.
In an online statement, the MidWest Hospital Campaign says it’s still considering whether to run candidates in Clare and Tipperary.
