The Mid West Simon Community says it is preparing for a busy January.
The homeslessness support charity says many people find themselves under financial pressure in the post-christmas period.
The organisation traditionally experinces an increased demand for all their services, including their succesful Food Bank initiative which sees the Simon Community collect food from supermarkets and distribute it to households in financial crisis.
Manager Jackie Bonfield says January is often the most difficult month.
