Clare’s Tidy Towns and Villages will be honoured at a ceremony in Ennis this evening.
Minister of State at the Department of the Environment Jan O’Sullivan will present national, regional and other awards to local winners at the Old Ground Hotel at 6.30 this evening in an event organised by Shannon Development and sponsors SuperValue.
Ennis was the Big Winner in this region when it was named Ireland’s Tidiest Large Urban Centre at the announcement of the awards in September, while Tidy Towns medals are also going to Kilrush, Ballynacally, Mountshannon, Kilkee and Tuamgraney.
