Clare County Council is introducing additional free parking in Ennis in a bid to attract shoppers to the county town in the run up to Christmas.
Clare County Council is introducing additional free parking in Ennis in a bid to attract shoppers to the county town in the run up to Christmas.
People will now be able to park free-of-charge at Waterpark House, Drumbiggle Road and at Áras Contae an Chláir from 10am to 6pm on both days this weekend and on Christmas eve.
The parking incentives are in addition to the free parking scheme being implemented at public carparks throughout the town on Thursday to Saturday from 3pm each week until January 8th.
Meanwhile, O’Connell Square and O’Connell Street will also be pedestrianised from 12 noon until 6pm this weekend and again on Friday, December 23rd and Saturday 24th.
