August saw a third successive month of passenger growth at Shannon Airport.

170,000 people travelled through Clare’s international airport last month, up 3% on the same month last year.
Transatlantic services again showed the greatest uplift, with 35 per cent more passengers travelling between Shannon and the US and Canada compared to 12 months ago.
Overall, after growth in June and July also, passenger numbers at Shannon have increased by 7% over the key summer period.
