Clare’s Rural Water Programme has received a multi million euro funding boost.
The County Council is to receive over 3 million euro with the monies aimed at improving the quality of group water schemes throughout Clare.
1 and a half million euro will go towards design, build and operate projects – half a million will go to small public schemes, a further half a million on upgrading works with the remainder on areas like new schemes and connections to the public supply
This year’s government programme also sees a thousand euro hike in the maximum grant available per household.
