A new Chief Superintendent has been appointed to Clare’s Garda Division.
It follows the departure of Chief Superintendent Colm O’Sullivan to Thurles Garda Station where he will take up the responsibility of Regional Chief Superintendent for the Southern Region.
O’Sullivan was appointed to the the top position of the Clare/Tipperary Garda Division in October 2022 and headed up the merger which came into effect in August of this year.
Chief Superintendent Aileen Magner has been transferred to Ennis Garda Station and will assume the role.
