Westbury residents facing longstanding problems with water, sewerage and other infrastructure problems will breathe a sigh of relief today.
Clare County Council offically takes charge of the managment of the over 900 residental and other properties in the vast South East Clare estates.
Houing Minister Jan O’Sullivan will be on hand to mark the event which will see the local authority undertake priority works on upgrading the sewerage treatment plant, a water audit, roads and footpaths.
Some of the problems date back to the origns of the the estate in the 1980’s.
