‘New Investigation’ To Be Demanded For Plane Crash That Killed Clare Man

The widow of a Clare man killed in a plane crash three years ago says a ‘new investigation’ is to be asked for by lawyers in response to a recent court ruling.

Lahinch native Míchéal ‘Mick’ Ryan was travelling from Addis Ababa to Nairobi on March 10th, 2019, when the Boeing 737 Max Aircraft crashed minutes after take-off, killing all 157 people on-board.

US federal judge Reed O’Connor has ruled that the deaths of those passengers, as well as those on another 2018 flight that crashed in Indonesia, were the direct result of criminal behaviour on the part of the Boeing corporation.
