Clare FM has reaffirmed it’s status as the premier radio station in the county.

According to the latest JNLR listenership figures published today, Clare FM has welcomed 1,000 new weekly listeners in the last year.

This means Clare FM now boasts a weekly listenership of 53,000, which equates to one in two adults in the county tuning into the IMRO Local Radio Station of the Year every single day.

Additionally, listeners are tuning in for longer periods, contributing to a market share increase.

Nationally, figures released today shows that the Irish daily radio audience is at over 3.4 million listeners, growing by 69,000 listeners.

Padraic Flaherty, Clare FM’s Programme Director, expressed his delight with the latest figures. “We are thrilled to welcome 1,000 new listeners to Clare FM.

Every day, we strive to cater to a broad audience, providing the latest in current affairs, news, sports, and the biggest hits.

Our ethos has always been, and will always remain, to be relevant to our audience and ensure we are the number one choice in County Clare.

A sincere thank you to all our listeners who tune in each day.”
