The New Mayor of Clare insists tourism promotion, road maintenance and wastewater infrastructure will be to the forefront of his priorities for his term in office.
Alan O’Callaghan will be formally announced as the county’s first citizen at the new council’s first AGM this afternoon.
The Kilmurry Fianna Fáil Councillor previously served as Cathaoirleach of the Killaloe Municipal District, while also sitting on the council’s Joint Policing and Rural Development Committees.
