It’s hoped the latest tranche of community recognition funding will have a transformative impact on North Clare.
It comes as the region has been allocated €666,000 for five separate projects across Ballyvaughan, Lisdoonvarna, Bellharbour, Lahinch and Miltown Malbay.
The funding was distributed to communities in recognition of their efforts in hosting Asylum Seekers and the planned developments will include new playgrounds, car parks, community halls, class rooms and sensory facilities.
