Health services in Clare are to move forward a step from today as the new state of the art in-patient unit opens for the first time.

The 50-bed,15 million euro unit will see each patient stay in an individual en-suite room, and will open on a phased basis over the next five-six weeks.
Patients will move into St. Caimin’s Male Medical Ward on the ground floor from this morning.
