A West Clare community has expressed outrage following a spate of anti-social behaviour over the bank holiday weekend.
On Monday morning, a number of trees were found to be destroyed at a recreational green space in Kilkee known locally as Allender’s Field, while ripped tents,broken glass bottles and cans of nitros gas were also found discarded at the site.

Constituents also reported incidents of people shooting airsoft pellets at passers-by from cars in the town.
Former Kilkee Councillor Cillian Murphy insists local bye-laws need to be urgently revised to wipe out the behaviour.
